Backyard.. not sure that fence will keep in a mighty thoroughbred Beagle :)

There was a great view from the top of Mount Middle, there is a BBQ area. It only takes a few minutes to get to the mountain top from town.

The local shop. There is also a butcher (opening soon), a bakery, part time optemtrist, a dentist flies in regularly, gift shop, take away and video store.

I was impressed by the variety and quality of the fruit and veg.. I received some odd looks when I got the camera out for this shot.

Anglo house and carport

The following are photos from an empty lowset house they let us inspect in Middlemount. Two storey homes are available for the general workforce, but we didn't have the opportunity to look though one on the day.

This is the carport, space for two vehicles. It is under cover, but not secured.

This shoy shows the lounge room. Every room has inverter split systems.. apparently every Anglo house is fitted with them.
